Kawin Dhanakoses

4 June 1987 | Architect | Thailand | Thai |

I am a multi-skilled architect with more than 7 years of professional experience in various types and scales of construction projects. Great enthusiasm to learn new things with positive attitude has provided me becoming a quick-learner as well as supportive team-player.

The master programme in “Advanced sustainable design” has also significantly inspired my design concepts, enhanced researching skills and broadens perspectives toward sustainability.

After years in academic and professional practices, I believe that teaching architecture students requires both comprehensive knowledge in research as well as practical professional experiences of the lecturer. Also, designing sustainable architecture in real practices involves significant amount of information which requires extensive research and understanding. Thus, I am highly motivated to continue to pursue a Ph.D degree and progress my career path as both a Lecturer and an Architect. My main interests including “passive design in tropical climates, appropriate building technology and construction, sustainable building materials, affordable sustainable architecture, and etc.

Currently, I am seeking for an opportunity to study Ph.D in order to advance my career path. After graduated, I would contribute to the academics as a lecturer, as well as an architect who would fully dedicate his real passion for sustainable architecture to contribute to the better future for all.
